Q.  WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

A. The event will always go ahead in the event of bad weather. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Great British Summer. Screenings will only be cancelled if the weather conditions present a danger at screening time. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night, and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless a screening is cancelled by The Luna Cinema. In the unlikely event that a screening is cancelled, we will aim to give as much notice as possible, so please keep an eye out for information on the website and social media. 

Q.  HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKET?

A. This depends on how you choose to book - you can opt to have a print at home ticket or a physical ticket that is posted to you by first class post. Please make sure you bring your ticket (whether it’s a print at home, e-ticket on a device, or posted ticket) to the event as our staff will scan each to ensure validity.  If you have any queries with regards to our ticketing, please contact us at info@thelunacinema.com.

Q.  WILL THERE BE FOOD & DRINK AT THE SCREENING?

A. We have a bar on-site serving a full selection of hot and cold drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as various food options. For more information, visit our Food + Drink page. Please refrain from bringing outside food and drink to The Moviefest screening as it will not be allowed on site.

Q. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PREMIUM & VIP TICKET?

A. A Premium Ticket gives you a reserved directors chair in prime position of the screen, a complimentary drink from The Luna Bar and as an added bonus you can avoid the queues and enjoy priority access to the bar. A VIP ticket includes the same benefits as a premium ticket holder with the added benefit of a branded lanyard and a meet and greet before the screening. 

Q. CAN I BRING SOMETHING TO SIT ON?

A. Yes, by all means feel free to bring a picnic chair or blanket to sit on.  Please note that our ushers request those members of the audience on chairs not to sit at the front, but rather position themselves at the side or towards the back of the audience arena.  We have blankets and back rests for sale on site.

Q.  CAN I SMOKE AT THE SCREENING?

A. Smoking is not permitted inside the arena. If you wish to smoke at an event, you will be asked to leave the site and will be readmitted once you are finished. Please dispose of your rubbish responsibly.

Q.   CAN I BRING A DOG TO THE SCREENING?

A. No, dogs are not permitted at our events out of respect to other audience members.  We apologise for any inconvenience.

Q  WILL THERE BE TOILET FACILITIES AT THE SCREENINGS?

A. Yes, all our our screenings have toilet facilities, including accessible facilities. 

Q.  CAN I BRING CHILDREN?

A. Yes, we love to see the next generation of open air cinema fans coming to our events! Children aged under 3 don't require a ticket but have free admission. Any child aged 3 and over requires a ticket. We do ask that you ensure your child doesn't disturb other audience members and please be aware of the film's certificate - you can bring your infant along at your own discretion and responsibility. Any child aged 3 or over must adhere to the film’s certification.

Q.  WHAT IF I FORGET MY TICKET?  

A. Please bring your ticket along – if you do forget it, we have a record of all bookings, so if you provide our steward with your details we can admit you into the event.  All audience members including children must have a valid ticket.

Q.  DO YOU HAVE A GROUP BOOKERS' DISCOUNT OR OFFER CORPORATE HOSPITALITY PACKAGES?

A. Yes, we do have a group bookers' discount of £1 off each ticket for all orders of ten or more. You can book this on the venue booking page, or feel free to contact us to arrange it for you. We have various corporate hospitality options available to tailor your night with us exactly to suit your needs. Please contact us for more information.

Q.  IS THERE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS? 

A. Yes, all of our sites have wheelchair access, please inform us if you require any additional support on site.
